Enjoy some art and ballet on the same night!
I'm excited to announce my upcoming exhibit at Germantown Performing Arts Center with a reception Friday April 20th from 5:30-7:30PM. The exhibit runs from April 10- May 9 and is open 10AM-5PM weekdays and before any show at GPAC. The exhibit will feature many new landscape paintings created in the past two years. Here are a few of the paintings below:
Reflections along Herb Parsons Lake, Eads, TN. 12 x 16 Inches, oil on linen.
The reception will be on the same night the Moscow Festival Ballet performs Giselle! This is a one time showing of Giselle, so don't miss it! Info here: https://www.gpacweb.com/event-list/2018/4/20/russian-national-ballet-giselle
Yellow flowering fields near the Ozark National Forest, AR. 6x12 inches, oil on linen.
Above is a small 6x12 inch plein air painting made during a camping trip to the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. These were wonderful yellow flowering fields along the road just on the edge of the forest. I found a spot along the road where I could safely set up to paint and find shade from the glaring sun.
